Nova Scotia is a place I'm going to visit some day, in the summer.
I went to a school with a couple of guys from Halifax back in the 70's. I used to tease them about the month and a half riding season.. Congrads on passing the test. 85ft is a long way in both directions. 50 or so ft up a phone pole is about as high as I've been and I wasn't comfortable. good luck, and remember that all your gear feels better in the cold then it does in the heat (i did firefighter olympics for a drill a few years back in 101 degrees, not fun!)
