I'm 99% sure you only need a Regional Expert license to be eligible for the Supersport class. That's the whole point of it. In order to get a AMA National Pro Expert license (Daytona Sportbike) or AMA Superbike (ASB) you need to meet some requirements. Not so with Supersport.

I talk some smack, yeah, but when I saw how many folks were entered for the Daytona 200 I considered finding a way down with my 05' and just running a pace.

With only 16 entries at the time you can guarantee 2 crashes and at least that many mechanicals, so you have a decent shot at a top 15 and maybe top ten finish, but oh what the hell is that worth?
