I don't understand when people have 500+ friends and then have their phone numbers, addresses, resume, etc on their profile. Call me paranoid but I just don't want all my personal info out there.

One of my buddies has over 1000 "friends" on Facebook. He's a popular guy but at over 1000 you have to wonder how many he really knows.

Makes me wonder how people even get that many friends. I mean do they walk around handing out their facebook business cards??

The only people I haven't met on my friends list are just some of you CF/TWF people and even they are people I have an online relationship with.

I see it dumb but you also have to see it as just saying Hi or waving at a stranger while walking down the street. Ya, there are people on there that are just going for a higher number but I also see it as politeness. Why not say Hi to someone you dont know? Are you wanting people to not communicate with you? Plus, its a lot easier to be friend or de-friend someone you don't know. Especially if you never have to see them in person.

Same here with the exception of a few of your guys on here, but I hope that at some point or another I will meet you IRL.

Yes, but this is cracking me up.... I expected people to randomly add and say yes. But, I didn't expect people to request to add me [2 so far] and comments of "How long has it been??"

Me: "Hey, YOU! It seems like forever!"

"On Facebook" has replaced "In Bed" in fortune cookies.

"She thinks you're a great guy" , (On Facebook)

"You will have a wonderful life", (On Facebook)

"You have many friends", (On Facebook)

I have 752 friends on facebook after a weed out of all of the people I didn't know. High school/college friends, motorcycle friends, family friends, etc.
