If I actually went away from Japanese inline fours I'd probably get a Duc 1098or 1198....not that it's better or anything but just because I've always liked Ducs.
It's hard to beat a Japanese inline four...for the $$ though. |

It is an inlie 4, but it vibrated more than any other I4 bike I've ever ridden.

Very true! I took a 30 minute test ride and came back and bought one. It's as kick ass as all the reviews say. Best bike I've ever ridden right out of the box. I still love my Japanese bikes too. Just can't wait to get it broken in and the 9K rpm limiter removed. After that, maybe I can make some valid comparisons between the bikes.
