No shit. I've got plenty of experience on drilling rigs right up to relief driller. Working in the oil patch? Bring me??

I believe Inferno is a firefighter though.

Shit, if I didn't have my daughter, I'd take a job like that in a heartbeat. Earn, and save, as much money as I possibly could so I could retire as early as possible. I would not be blowing the money earned over there. My goal would be to become completely debt free, including my house and then bank as much as I possibly could.

Which contractor is it? I have experience in both Iraq and Afghanistan. What will you be doing for them?

Op is a dick. My first response when I read this this morning was id jump on it if it were me. I erased it and went with something else but apparently the almighty caught wind and decided to continue our lifelong relationship of jerking me around as proof that I really am the center of the universe. In other words I was offered a chance at a volunteer deployment and I'm gonna say yes. We'll see what happens. Jerk.

Yes, FF/HAZMAT Tech/Fire Inspector...not sure what they want me to do as of yet. Just talked to them on the phone, I have to fill out some other paperwork.
