Bob said the G8 is too good a car to let go.
I'd look for it rebadged as a Chevy soon.

Yep probably so and what I was thinking since it does seem to be such a cool 4 door. Just didn't know if anyone had heard any specifics since everybody is an expert. |

GM's Epsilon platform and it's improved Epsilon II have been used for models under Chevy, Buick, Opel, Saab, Fiat, Cadillac and Pontiac brands. And the Epsilon had over 20 different drivetrains. Car and Driver, December 10 issue

My last Pontiac was an early 90's Grand Prix.
Manual tranny with the 3.1L I LOVED that car. They stopped making 'em manual and I stopped buying them. No regrets seeing it go if that's the sort of decisions they were making. Eff that noise. |

Chevy was good normal car with modest design
Buick is upscale, plush comfort Cadillac is high end ultra comfort and luxery Pontiac a sportier more agressive version of the chevy Saturn their plastic chevy version with bland design Each division had their niche. I'm sorry to see the agressive side (Pontiac) go and the plastic paneled saturns are a great idea they should you more. No rust! |
