Would Apple have gotten where it is, and come out with the products it did, if some generic MBA-type of CEO like Roger Smith or Jack Welch were in charge? I doubt it.

I would characterize it as annoyance, rather than hate. I can't really hate a guy who was involved in creating the industry, in which I work.
