I would either be playing professional baseball, or something to do with professional baseball... i.e. scouting, farm teams, stats...

Not I.
The skill and the respect earned would be something, but the fame isn't something I'd enjoy.
Also, sports careers come with a fairly short lifespan. You're on top of the world until age or injuries stack up on you... then you better have some decent investments and a plan for 'retirement'.
