I dont have a garage, so mods happen in the driveway when it's nice out.

These HIDS are kicking my ass. I have no idea how to do it..
Whats the problem? Gas Man and I installed mine rather quickly.

I'm wiring retarded, and I want to do both high and low. Everythign I've read says I need relays and timers.. But, according to the kit I can just hook it up...

It's confusing!

You should be able to just hook it up. I ran a relay on mine b/c I've heard of the stock wire harness melting. So it was an easy decision to run a relay to the battery. The stock harness just assures they turn on and off like the normal headlights on mine.

I bought a car relay on ebay for like 10 bucks. I do wanna put a timer on this season too...but I suck at electric too...so I'm gonna enlist the help of Gas Man again.

I'm thinking I'm just going to put a switch in line, so I control when they get power and when they don't. But I'm leaving the brights alone and the dims will be HID's

Marko. Order one of those delay timers like I installed. Then we can hammer it out in may when I come bk out. But I think I'll bring more tools&supplies this time.

Tmall. If u need any help just let me know. I'm no electrical whiz but I did one hell of a wiring job on the ultra this winter. 3 hids. One with hi/low ability and 2 spot lights. All on delays. I had to re fig how to wire the hi/lo headlight. Not even the delay guy knew how to with the newer hi/lo hid bulb kits.

How long do you think it'll take us to retrofit that sucker?

Not long. But we'll need more supply setup than you normally carry.
