Her 2009 baby ninja awaits!
She'll do great!

Haha, its sad that she will complete it before me. No, I could have scheduled earlier in the year, but didn't want to deal with the rain. I start mine the 20th. Until then my temps will be ok.

The best way to deal with getting one licensed for the street is to buy one from someone who has already done it. They aren't common but you can usually find a few RS250s for sale with a tag. The more difficult problem would likely be getting it insured, for a 15 year old new rider, in Texas, for less than the cost of financing a Desmosedici RR.

All our bikes are liability only. Total of $65 a year. Adding her increases the policy by $15.

I want to keep her on the motorcycle and off the car policy. That one isn't as cost effective.

That is pretty manageable.

I was living in Texas when I first got my drivers license and even back then (longer than I care to think about) it was expensive as hell for me to be covered full comp on 2 cars. For the same on the muscle car my dad had at the time (not in good shape either) we were quoted over $5k per year. For obvious reasons that didn't happen.
