A little experiment

I have a guy friend who will "friend" anyone he meets IRL. Like... pulls out his iphone on the spot and finds them and sends the request. Srsly.

I'm like most of y'all... if I don't know you, you're not on my list. I have moto folks, HS folks, work folks, and locals (current and previous city) .... those are my 4 major categories of people on my FB list. I don't have all my ish out there... it's still the internet, I'm sure there's plenty about me out there if someone's THAT curious. Handouts not required

I only have 138 "friends" on there, but know every one of them, either through school (and actually remember them), here, poker, military, work or some other way from real life. I deny requests if I don't know the person.

I have over 500 friends on there and I know them all. YMMV.

I have two-three people on there that I've never met. Crazykell, Karl and Flexin.

There's not a person on my list who I wouldn't feel comfortable calling up and having a conversation.

I deny anyone from work. It is none of their damn business, plus I see them every flipping day.

I created a competing profile of a man - all information is the same [birth date, location, quotes, profile stuff, friends requested] except, he has no high school or university noted AND his employer is named as McDonalds. The results aren't shocking.

She has 45/110 so far.
He has 1/110

That's beginning to sound like a very interesting paper. You could pull from that data for damn near any class you take.
