Track/race bikes often have the tach mounted so redline is at the top center.

I know.

This one doesn't.

In fact at redline the needle would be buried behind the triple clamp which is why I was all:

I'm not sure why it's crooked the amount that it is. You'll have to ask Moira. LOL

I did think it was odd that 6000 was mostly straight up. I think the way the gauges bolt into the back plate, it might control as the gauges don't just *roll* around any direction. There are set locations for it to mount it appears from when I remember looking at it before.
