That's because they try to style their building & uniforms all 1950's & shit.

Their fries are pretty good, as long as you eat them within 10 minutes, or else they get soggy.

If you want a good burger, non chains are the best way to go. Just watch diners, drive ins, and dives for the best burgers.

I thought Alice's burgers were pretty damn good out there by you, Homeslice. I am sure you got a ton of awesome food places in SF though.

I have what just may be the best hand made pub style burger in all of NJ right at the end of my street (you can't really pick it up...it's about the size of your head).

As far as chains go; Five Guys probably has the burger most like real food.

You went down there? That's kind of San Jose area.......I'm in the East Bay so I never really go down there but maybe I'll have to someday.

Yeah, I never really went into the Bay Area. I kinda came in from the east and looped down to San Jose/Cupertino to go to Apple and went to black road (which would be an epic motard road) up to Skyline and took Skyline all the way into 101 and across the Golden Gate.

Alice's is pretty neat, you should check it out.
