form is more important than anything in the first month or so. build up a resistance to the type of training your doing, build up the muscle memory, then step it up. If you start throwin punches like rocky on day one, you'll be hurtin so bad every time you put on a pair of mitts you'll wonder why you even bought that big pink paper weight. |

I've got a beater bag down in my weight room. It's a cardio work on shoulder day

Nice now you can work on your skills. Make sure to wear your wife beater t shirt when you train.

I need to get a stand for mine... Preferably I'd get some sort of power rack with a built in stand... that would be ( . Y . )
Krav... I want to take Krav so bad... I can't find anyone offering it around here... |

I have one of those wavemaster bags, it does the job. eventually I'll upgrade my squat rack and then get a hanging one I can just clip in it then throw it in the corner when I'm done

If you didn't, you should get a timer. There's one at my old school that's literally 30 years old. Couple D batteries and you can set it for different on times and breaks. Remember- First bell means go, second means go harder and third is break. As you get stronger and work your stamina, you set the on time longer and breaks shorter and do more rounds.
These are the wraps I have. http://www.awma.com/index.cfm/action...ct_id/9893.htm And these are my bag gloves. http://www.awma.com/index.cfm/action...ct_id/8623.htm www.centurymartialarts.com and www.awma.com are good places to get gear. These are awesome if you have a partner. Great to have a target that does more than swing back and around.
