To Aerostich? Naah. That would be a bit self-serving.

Hi,
I'm writing you on behalf of a friend. He's an avid long distance rider and a big fan of his Aerostitch suit. Recently, during a heated discussion with a friend, he was defeding his suit's versitilty and ability to withstand the weather. It was during this discussion that a challenge was issued. I've attached a link to the video documentation on the experiment that followed. Tracy - the suit's owner and Aerostich fan - demonstrated the suit's ability to withstand torrential rain by going through an automatic car wash in full gear on his bike. The suit performed magnificently!! I encouraged him to forward the video but he didn't want to seem self serving. I, on the other hand, think that you all work too hard and need a little comedy and some product humor. So with no further ado: *insert youtube link here* SENT!

Nice! (both the video & the Aerostitch e-mail).
I think those folks have a sense of humor & will appreciate it! (Just look for some of the fake items in the catalog like the 'road grunge in a bottle', or something like that ) I'd really like to snag an Aerostich at some point for longer-distance touring on my VFR. The Olympia Phantom suits seem to give them a run for their money for way le$$ though. Just doesn't have the same street-cred though. |

Laura, Thank you for your interest in our products and sharing the link. It's been making it's way around the company lately and is great fun to watch. While we don't promote the Roadcrafter as "Waterproof" it can, under certain circumstances do amazingly well, as you know. I believe we are considering posting this link on the website for others to view and perhaps get more folks to share their experiences with the gear. Thanks again. We appreciate your support or encouragement. Ride Well and Prosper, Pete

I'm looking at ordering one here shortly, as I'm selling my truck and will be two wheels only for a while... need something I can wear and not think twice about the weather.

I am the same. Pretty sure I'm going to sell the car and go bike only, at least for the summer, but probably longer. I'll probably either get this or the Olympia version of it.
