i think you're right, though i imagine they must have had a hand in the block as well if you consider the design on most pushrod eights has the cam in the middle

The mods are irrelevant, MY car did 13.9@101 stock with Eagle F1s on the rear. Other Z's have gone as low as 13.79 but it varies too much on driver, conditions and elevation.

Dave - after it was all said and done my avg trap was around 110.

The LT5 had quad overhead cams. It wasn't a pushrod engine.

duh. i was saying they likely helped do the block since the method of timing and block architecture would have been massively different from an OHV
