I use my droid as an mp3 player. I put it in my inside pocket of my jacket. I'm able squeeze my jacket and use the volume toggle on the side of the droid. I'll enter in an address and just listen to the directions that google maps gives me. Although the lady can get REALLY annoying at times. Reminding you to turn every 2 effin minutes. They didnt program here to read the short names of streets either. It sometimes takes her 10 seconds or more to say the how damn highway name.

Yup - still working from home. Call me anytime.

Absolutely agreed. The Droid X is the coolest smart phone I've ever seen. Or maybe it just seems that way after putting up with the BB Storm for so long.

I am using the galaxy. I can look at that thing forever, especially on the first and seventh screens.

How the battery life so far? I've noticed there aren't many choices for upgrading the battery...
I wish I had the chance to start with the Incredible like my buddy did. I really like the design of the HTC phones. Samsung completely fucked that whole process up. That was a giant fail. But honestly, I'm glad I had the chance to get the X. I played with an incredible in Best buy today. The thing feels puny after having the X in my hand.

Battery life has seemed fantastic, even browsing the internet and facebooking all day at work. Small bits of games and widgets here and there. Usually about 35% battery left when I go to bed about midnight.

I've been having god awful battery life problems with it. Only have 2 accounts hooked up (corporate email and gmail), and no real other apps installed.

Today it lasted for 6 hours with zero usage.. wtf?

Bluetooth, wifi and all that is disabled. Corporate email syncs every 15 minutes, gmail is about the same.

No idea what the hell is sucking down the battery.

I'm ASSuming that you've checked the settings and looked under Application: running apps. Have you made sure that the Gps isn't running? That's a life killer! Other than that, I'm out for now...
