I check in every few days but don't post much (as usual). Super busy with the twins and a new position at work these days.

Well you said...

secret is in layers... I didn't have any heated clothes in 09 when I rode to Fargo in late Dec. Froze... but survived.

not saying it's fun... just that it's possible.

Damn, all you people with school and jobs and families and real lives keeping you from posting...
It's like I'm on a forum with a bunch of goddamn grownups or something.

Winner.

How much bike talk can there be? Everybody here has been riding for ten years or better. The "Which oil is best for wheelies?" and "Which Oakleys offer the best crash protection?" threads are few and far between.

Avatard brought out the childishness in everybody but now he is gone.

Kaneman seems to be over his prison rape fetish, Tommy hasn't had another kid or snake(yet) and Ed hasn't ripped anybody off lately, so there isn't much banter these days.

Yea... layers.... like onions....

I rode in the early spring with my Underarmor cold gear, a long sleeve shirt, my textile jacket, and a hoodie overtop. I stayed pretty warm except I couldnt feel my hands or toes...

It doesnt help that our active members went down from like 230 to 110...

But hey, I've only been riding for 4 years, so you never know... I might need to know what brand headlight fluid I should buy....

There's 110 active members here? I don't stop in often anymore, but when I do it seems like it's the same 8-10 people with recent posts.
