Well, I just came back from shopping and I had 3 boxes of Raisin Bran, 6 cans of soup, 3 polo shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, 3 quarts of oil, 1 oil filter and I believe that I could have fit more in if I had tried. Do you have a small duffle bag? You could always strap that to the top if you are worried.

I have backpacks. I may bring one and all my extra bungees for just in case.

I attached the bungee cords to be on the safe side. Why risk it? I find it hard to imagine all four of my 3/8 bolts failing at the same time though. I might use those bungees to secure my backpack. Hmmmm...

Huh? Oh the bag has bungee cords incorporated into it. Ha I just figured out that the "quick connects" on my tail bag that are for attaching saddle bags fit the quick connects on my back pack! Woot!
