Ever unintentionally scrape a peg?
I went out for a ride over lunch intending for it to be just a nice, relaxing ride through the back roads...
For the record, I tend to take fairly conservative lines by choice just because. I can scrape pegs when I choose, but I tend not to by design Anyhow, I was riding today and didn't notice that I was riding more and more aggressively to the point where I went into a left hander and scraped my peg without meaning to. Immediately, my mind said STOP and decided to examine what the hell was going on. UNFORTUNATELY, all of my brain power was focused on reviewing the past events that I blew the NEXT left hander (though I had already slowed down to about 20 or so) and went into the grass briefly before snapping myself out of it and, after a squirly back tire moment, got back on the pavement. Apparently, I went out more keyed up than I thought. I'll be keeping an eye out for THAT again going forward! It's safer that way!

no, i had vortex rearsets on mine, if I scrape a peg the rear wheel is coming off the ground and I am going to be sliding across the pavement.

Yep.
In fact, I've never intentionally scraped a peg. |

I have.
I used to race pocket, and the lean angles are ridiculious. I took my Ninja out just to cool down after some warm-ups (wasn't even wearing a helmet...had no intention of "pushing it", I was literally just trying to cool off...) and the next thing I know, I'm scraping peg.

Nope. I've never scraped peg. Which I find odd.
Negligible strips on rear. Very tiny on front and never touched a peg down. (no feelers however, I removed those) |

I scraped a peg once following a guy down Lime Creek Rd... startled the hell out of me. But it only happened the one time on my old F2.

LOL - I made a point to do it every time I rode Lisa's old F4i (she had to lower it to be closer to flat footing it). Her 600RR has higher pegs so even though it's lowered as well, I've not ridden it enough to do so yet.

You jinxed me Particle! I was riding at Summit Point today and clipped my peg on the curbing in a left-hander, sending me into an immediate low-side. Fortunately when my bike hit the dirt, it flipped and smashed the right side up too so everything matches again.
