Laptop - Windows 7 RC x64
Desktop - Vista Ultimate Home - XP Sp3 No issues with Vista once I sorted out the drivers. Love windows 7. Started with Beta 1 and it has been flawless on a corporate network.

Desktop - Mac OS X
Laptop - Vista Home Premium Been using vista for a year with no problems, I like it better than XP. I'm also surprised more people aren't using Windows 7, I hear it's pretty good. |

For example when you look at the start button in Vista, the upper arc of the button intrudes into the desktop area and any active window. To render this arc takes a not insignificant amount of processing time, when compared to a straight line like the one in WinXP. In Windows 7 the round start button is fully contained within the taskbar, rather than protruding above it, so that processing time is not a factor. A lot of little things like that add up to better performance.
