In college my room mate found a tame white rabbit running around in the woods in Hampton, VA. She brought him home and named him Hampton. Hampton had a fly larvae coming out of his neck. It was as big around as my pinkie finger.

We didn't know what it was, so called around until we could find a vet we could afford. He pulled the thing out with tweezers and proceeds to 'pet' it while we were squiriming around with the heebie geebies!! That left Hampton with a HUGE hole in his neck we had to put salve in. It was SO NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!

Just the other night I almost stepped on the largest wolf spider I've ever seen as i was going out into the garage barefooted. It was easily 3"+ long on the legspan, had to look twice to make sure it wasn't a small tarantula as big as it was. I'm just glad it moved before I stepped off the last step onto the floor I did grab a shoe and smack that thing though, don't want him raiding the pantry at night. I'm also glad that one wasn't carrying babies!
