Fish aren't "pets", they're living decorations.

Skunks are actually pretty neat, but given how they behave in the wild, they'd constantly be rooting around in your carpet and hiding under things.

*eta I'm with Rogue, go with the chinchilla. It's the next best thing to having a baby Ewok in your home.

not really, you can do a shark tank for a few hundred, with a cheap sharks.

but i highly suggest against it until you have a firm grip on keeping SW animals.

My husband had one that lived for 3 years. He got it from a wedding (they used them as center pieces). The fish lasted longer than the marriage

Oh yea I have one! I used to have two... the funeral was last Tues. Anyway, I'm just about over it and thinking about getting another one. Disposable pets FTW!

Here's the survivor John Kerry, the red one named George Bush passed away after I finnally told him about Barrack Obama becoming president.

Well, rodents don't live very long either when you get down to it. Mine lasted maybe 2 years.

Have you seen ferrets man? Nothing roots, digs, and hides under and inside furniture, major appliances, cabinetry, plumbing, etc like ferrets!
