Default Calling travel guru's

I need to find the absolute best deal I can for a flight and car from Phx to either Atlanta or Charlotte (in a hurry, last minute deal for this weekend). What are some sites that you use? I have checked the most common - cheaptickets, travelocity, etc.

Normally I don't shop based on price, as it is work related. But this isn't, and I am a cheap bastard...

just try em all, just depends on the flight cost really. I have had the same site given me two different prices in a 30 minute window.

If you can fly in to Raleigh/Durham you could try southwest.com as well. They don't have their flights on any of the other websites, just their own. It might not hurt to check for an airport closer to your final destination. I figure it isn't Charlotte or Atlanta since its about 250 miles between the two cities.

look on craigslist for Southwest frequent flyers coupons, usually about $300-350 for R/T

you can make a reservation for the next day and "pay" w/ one of these coupons.

that is if SW goes there

if your buying conventional tickets

and being i just was in charlotte flying to it, it was ALOT cheaper togo raleigh.durham then CH
then rent a car and drive, about 1 hr

Never even gave CL a thought. I will check R/D as well. Actual destination is Dublin, Ga so I am driving after the flight regardless.

raleigh is a hub for SW so it's cheaper to there.

we have a 1-1 way ticket left , but would rather keep it.
