Default No title in MD?

So when a bike is an insurance salvage in MD...is there not a title any more?

Track bike for sale in MD...seems like a good deal, but bike has no title, just bill of sale......and no one seems to question that?!?

Is that normal in MD?

I would think that every state would issue either a salvage title or certificate of destruction(or the equivalent) for bikes totalled by insurance.
