Went tot he Gun Show Today
So today, here in New England there were two Gun Shows withing 3 miles of each other.
A friend from one of the Hayabusa boards and I went to them. I scored this lovely Tactical Solutions Dedicated 22lr M4 upper. Fit and finish is great. I have run a couple of mags though it just for funtion. I also tested it with my Gentech Halo Supressor attached damn it is quiet. There was a less expensive option the Chiapi? a polymer set up that I could get off line for $250 shipped with 2 mags (the buffoon who had it at the show priced it a $339 with ! mag) a Nice Olympic Match set up that priced at $650. I suspect I paid a Premium for the privilege of of leaving with it today but goe the upper with 2 Mags for $495 and he took 25 out of the Rock River 2 stage trigger I bought as well. I expect over the next few weeks I will build up a dedicated lower for it but here it is on one of my CAR lowers with a Budget sight I had out in the garage safe.

The sight is a "Baraska" red dot. It is a "Cheaper than Dirt" special. It holds a zero well. But it is nothing you would want on a survival rifle.

Yeah it looked like one of the ACOG knock-offs. The fuck if i can afford an ACOG. My night-vision compatible EoTech was enough for me to spend.

I Find AR's are like Potato Chips ,, you can't have just one. Among my favorites is the non standard Calibers, with my 50 Beowulf topping the list. It will stop anything that walks in North America and 2/3rds of what rolls. I have an AR set up for night work, one set up for distance work and and a good old short barreled unit with Eotech , Green Laster and flashlight. The addition of a 22lr version lets me shoot more, make adjustment to triggers and furniture without having to leave the yard or annoy the neighbors. I have a few AK's as well.
