That burger looks damn good.
I've only ever seen tumbleweeds like that in movies.. fun to watch.. can't imagine it's very fun driving through it though.

Om nom nom...
Have you been out to Jack Allen's Kitchen yet? Not the same kind of food (greezy delicousness.. which I love too), but it is still pretty freaking awesome.

Rather be in New Orleans for food reasons, but that's what I grew up on. Brisket is Texas' way to my heart though.

I wouldn't say Austin is a place to go out of your way to visit for the food. But what is nice is that when you're here, there's a huge variety of cuisine that's good while also being reasonably priced.

Hmmmm........ I'd rather be where I am, when it comes to food. Authentic Indian, Thai, Chinese, Ethiopian (yes, they actually have a cuisine, though not much food at home these days), or great steak & burgers at 3:00am? Works for me!

Authentic Chinese is disgusting, can't believe anyone would want that garbage. Give me the europeanized any day of the week. Any major city can give you a wide variety of authentic food though, including New Orleans. Yeah, everyone knows about Ethiopian food. It was a food fad in the major cities awhile back, hell I think they even joked about it on Seinfeld or some other comedy in the 90s. Last edited by Trip; 02-01-2013 at 12:37 PM.. |
