The troops
I don't know what all of everybody's opinions on the war is, but i don't necisarily care. This thread is about the TROOPS only, so nothing about the war.
I know alot of people have family or friends that have been/are in the middle east. And I know a few of you here might have been in the service yourself. For some people that havn't had that experience its hard to stay vigilant or be emotionally connected to the war, and it's easy to forget. But now I have a friend going over and i'm starting to get that uneasy feeling. So from me I want to say thank you to everybody here that has served the country in any way. My friend is shipping out today, and I would like you to keep him in your prayers... Private Josh Caplinger- Army reserves. (on the right in both pics) Please post any family/friends currently serving so I can keep them in mind as well.....

Yeah we've got a few that have been there... some mutliple times... Dave's been there several times, Dlit's wife has gone, Tally is currently overthere, Ambly is a contracter, Vabs just got back a couple months ago... I know we have a couple others but don't know if they've been deployed yet.

I was medically discharged from the Army while still in training status due to a knee injury. I still have quite a few friends who serve, and I always let them know how much their service means to me.
a BIG Thank YOU to all the troops.

THANK YOU!!! to all who serve. It is a great service you do for all of us.
Have several friends and family over there. Think were all effected by someone. My heart especially goes out to my cousin Marine Sergeant James Lee Martin who was injured (leg) after taking shrapnel from a RPG blast on his third tour in Iraq. He is home and and completely healed but will have a pretty sever limp for the rest of his life. I LOVE YOU LTL MAN!!! Proud to say your my blood
