Thumbs up So it's really and truly time for........

... Nee to upgrade her bike.

Yup, after months of hemming and hawing, and HALF shopping, but not really shopping, we've decided we're gonna get me a new(er) bike.

Mainly looking at used R6's and ZX6R's (newer ones), but there's been the occasional R1 and ZX10R that we've found that are within budget, so... we shall see.

Just tired of messing with carb issues, and I hate that here we are in the midst of beautiful fall weather (PRIME riding season in FL) and my bike isn't running right.

So, wish me luck on my shopping adventures.... hopefully I'll be posting up soon with pics of a new pony in our garage.

Hope to see it too Nee. If you want I can look around this area. I have found some awesome deals in the local Cycle Trader, that if I had the dispoable income I would already have a garage full of bikes.

BTW you want to get me one too?

Thanks all... I'm excited...

Eh, ideally we'd like to stay in the $4K-5K range....might go as high as $5500 to $6K for an ideal bike/deal we just can't refuse.... (but yeah, Jersey is WAY too far to go for that bike... it's a beauty, but there's bikes in that range down here, too... when you factor in the gas and all....)

And as much as this is a "girl" thing to say, I am being picky about color (I'd like black, gray, red, silver or combination of those... reason being I LOOOOOOOVE my helmet and it's not even a year old, so I don't wanna replace it, and I'm tired of all my gear clashing with my bike, as it has with my Kawi all this time )

Hmmm. yeah if you're seeing great deals up there, keep me posted. (it's not QUITE as far up your way as it is to go to NJ... I know Chris has looked at some in GA and the Carolinas and prices seemed a bit lower there than they are here).

You can find a used 3-years-old Aprilia Mille or Tuono for next to nothing.
