Growlers

Anyone here into growlers? I am. I bought one last week...had it filled with Troegs Hopback Amber Ale...a local brew. Really good shit.

For those that dont know...a growler is 64 oz. of beer in a giant container. They rule.

I have several of them. I have them filled at Founders brewing all the time. $8 to have them filled is a steal.

A local sub shop here has them filled for 5 bucks on Tuesdays. Thats a steal. I got my 2nd fill directly at the brewery this week...7.50. Not bad.

Yeah...only on Troegs...but they have really good beer so it's a win-win.

I should have qualified that by saying $8 for some of the best beer ever. Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale at 8.5% alcohol.
