Star Motorcycle School
Anyone have any experience with Jason Pridmore's STAR motorcycle school? I was looking and they hit up the Track in Pueblo twice a year... it's a 2 day school for $500...
http://www.starmotorcycle.com/ thinking of maybe hitting it up next summer... |

Zortness, a member here, has. PM him if he doesn't reply in a day or two. Or I'll call him. Lemme know.

Around here, like $200, give or take $10-$15. I think SoCal has lower prices, not too sure though.

I took the 2 day at Hallett Oklahoma and had a riot blast! The school gives you lots of seat time and 2 days gives you time to practice the drills and still have time to drop the hammer and go for it.
After 5 years of club racing I was tapped out but found new speed from the courses. Really the $$ was well spent to get another 3-4 second off my lap times in 1 weekend. Then there is alot to be said for getting to ride with some of the best teachers and current riders around. I got to ride with Jason, Steve Mikolas (Sportrider Mag), and Danny Eslick. Got pointers from James Lickwar. And met several other industry names...

It's an excellent course. Took it at Second Creek Raceway here in CO before it relocated to Pueblo.

The Pueblo track is open for track days, but Second Creek closed two years ago. A new track, supposedly state of the art, is due to open east of Denver near Byers this autumn. Will be known as something like "High Plains Raceway".
