Good stuff. We used that on the cat and FrontLine on our dog. No fleas.

We tried Hartz one time on the dog to save $$ and he had a reaction/skin irritation and we tossed it.

Oh and for the record. I didn't have to vacuum at all...well except to clean up the dead fleas.

Go get a big box of 20 Mule Team Borax. Sprinkle it on the carpets throughout the entire house. Leave it set for a few days/a week and vacuum it up.

You can buy 20 Mule Team Borax at WalMart in the laundry detergent isle.

One summer the fleas came in the basement at m other house. The borax took care of them in under a week.

Borax fucks up some roaches too. Bugs walk through it, end up ingesting it, and it fucks 'em up from the inside out.

Umm... what happens if your pets ingest it?

FWIW, I just won the war here and it was an epic battle to be sure!

1st throw away any and all pet store flea crap...they all suck!!! Trust me, I tried several before giving up.

2nd bomb!!! Wait a few days and bomb again!

3rd VACUUM!!!

4th Bathe the animals to correspond to the bombings

5th Use Frontline

I got it on the cheap from Australia of all places- I'll try and find the link. It took a few days to come but it was like less than half, I think.

Most of all, be diligent and keep them inside as much as possible while you are at war! If you keep them in your yard, spray down your yard as well and keep them away from other animals until you have dosed them with Frontline.

Well, it works by dehydrating the bugs from the inside.

In the amounts you'd use for treating for bugs, it's effective against insects, but probably not enough to dehydrate fluffy.

Puggy had fleas once, what a pain in the ass.

I bathed her a couple of times and fleas fell off into the suds and washed off. and then put advantage on her too. took about 48 hours and didn't see anymore.

i don't remember bombing the house, but i did use a flea spray and sprayed everywhere and then washed all the sheets.

I got her shampoo and flea spray from the vet, but i forgot what brand it was. I smelled really potent, it was in a white and navy bottle.

TIMES ELEVENTY BILLION!!! Dont use anything you get from Walmart!! I put that crap on my cat and she started foaming at the mouth and had seizures for hours even tho I immediately washed it off. It was horrible.

Go to your vet, get a small pill for each cat called Capstar, get some advantage from the vet and get some carpet powder from walmart and call it good.

The Capstar kills everything on the animal within 24 hours, there is no jumping off. The advantage works for the month period. The carpet powder will need to sit for at least 30 minutes, vacuum, and you should see no more fleas. Repeat as needed.

(I had 7 indoor cats and using this method, no problems ever.)
