I moved from Mi to NC. Sold my house and moved into a 1 bd apt. Ran the lease out on my $40,000 truck and bought a $1200 car. Lived here the first year cold in the Winter, hot in the Summer and eating Ramen 2 meals a day. The only reason I still had things was because of my previous savings. I bought the things that were important to me (bike stuff) and left everything else at the store. I eliminated ALL habits to include Starbucks, etc. I never ate out. As soon as possible, I took a job making HALF of what I made in Mi even though I still had unemployment benefits. I sold frivolous items, believe it or not. No I don't want a medal but I wish that I could make people understand that not being able to keep your $2-300,000 house, 3 cars, 2 bikes, etc, etc, etc is not justification for this type of behavior. I'm honestly tired of hearing this crap!

You know this thread is about a white kid, right?

Just because someone posted a picture of a black guy, doesn't mean this thread is about you.

sorry - WTF? Seriously?

Scrub floors, dig ditches, cook french fries. while the economy IS bad - there are still jobs out there. Many people don't see them because they consider them "beneath" them.

*eye roll*

so breaking the law is BETTER than working???

GET A FUCKING JOB. Seriously. Stealing is NOT a job. And if you're for reals, I hope you rot in jail. Or at least learn how to dig ditches.

Any why isn't your mom working?

all I can do is shake my head and hope this is some kind of joke.

And seriously people - there's NO excuse for jacking someone else's shit. Ever.

What if it was YOUR garage he found his "opportunity" in?

SOMEONE worked hard for that shit. Just not you. Which makes it ok to take??
