Not sure if there is a demand for male nurses but in another female dominated industry, elementary education, there is a demand to get more men to teach and I could see schools being willing to pay a male teacher more.

i agree w/ pyscho, i think women aren't as aggresive concerning pay.

Really? Where? Our wages are negotiated with the union, so everyone gets paid the same based on years of experience.

So a grad nurse who's top of the class gets paid the same as bottom of the class, sounds like union alright.
