Don't know if it happened this time or not, but the last time it rained it was lightning for about a half hour before the "rain" came. The lightning started a couple grass fires. Can't even get rain in west Texas without shit burning down.

we got a small sprinkling in South Austin this morning and around lunch. Enough to wet the roads for 30 minutes but that's about it.

Late to the party on this, but homeowners insurance doesn't typically cover much if anything on firearms (1,000-2,500 from just searching a bit). I've got almost 4K in just my AR.

You can probably take out a personal articles policy separately from your homeowner's. I've done that for some jewelry in the past (not mine ).
