Chara is not that big either. I saw him in a bar when he was playing for Ottawa and he was tall, but skinny like the rake.

Agreed, but its still not that normal for someone his size to skate as well as he does.

A US first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an American. She asks her students to raise their hands if they are American too. "What if your mom was a crappy hockey player, and your dad was a crappy hockey player? Would that mean that you're a crappy hockey player too?"
A pause, and a smile.

Then, says Kristin, "Nope! That'd mean I'm an American!"

Scotty Bowman was complimenting taylor mays how he moved/skated so well for someone his size. Prety damn good if its comming from someone like bowman

You want to talk about big hockey players. Todd Bertuzzi, 6-3 245. Go Wings! Pronger and Chara are tall but they have no meat to them.

I used to see Dave Andreychuk and Marty St. Louis around a lot. Andreychuk is pretty damn big (as is Vinny Lecavalier), St. Louis not so much.

Must be a part of getting old, because I cant remember the last time i've loved doing something, and thought 'I wish I was second best in the world at this!!'
