Thanks Particle I would do it on SVrider but I would like the input of you folks here. Plus I am sure I need a lot of how to tips.

Yep, that site has a ton of info. So far, I have...

Frame sliders
Spool sliders
Tech Spec pads
$2 homemade fender eliminator
New turn signals front/rear
Painted the headlight housing and brackets black
Replaced 2 pot calipers with 4 piston Nissin
New braided front lines
Installed zx10 rear shock
And, just last night, new fork springs and oil

What kind of spray paint do you paint the brackets and housing with and do you need to prime it first?

Don't laugh. Just regular ole Krylon. I just sanded the chrome down with some 600 so the paint would stick. We will see how it holds up

if you throw some clear coat over the krylon it will hold up just fine
