Thanks Phoenix! Now if only they made the ones I liked in small enough sizes and UNDER $400!

Found these on Ebay, I may splurge and get them.

Chi....have you considered TCX boots? I picked up a pair for $200 and am really impressed with the quality and ankle protection. No ratchet but they are small in the calf if that's what you're worried about.

I think I looked at some last night, I honestly cant remember. Im not worried about the small calf so much as keeping them shut, both in street riding and track with boots over my leathers. My current pair (beat to hell and back) wont stay closed and they are only a zip up with a flap that folds over.

I'll check them out tho, thank you!

Sounds like my current A* boots. Damn velcro is worn the fuck out. Barely stays closed anymore.

Great deal but none in my size and I abhor red...Im looking for a black and white pair, matches the leathers and the bike.

There were ridiculous deals on white/black Vertigos a while back. They'd match your leathers perfect Still some white/red on there, but only larger sizes.

Hey Rae, those white A-stars the you posted up about are the exact same model as what I had when I was visiting.
