I try and get out there every other weekend. I ride every weekend, be it dirt or street.

I gotta try dirt. There's lots of dirt tracks around here. Maybe that'll keep me from going nuts in between trackdays.
What kind of dirt bike do you have? 2 Stroke?

I have a yzf426 and a KTM 250 SXF, both 4 strokes. I think I'm gunna get rid of the piano or turn it into a supermoto, the KTM is just too much fun to ride.

I would love to track only, but that would mean I would need a track closer than 4 hours away and have a lot more money.

You will love the track.
For me, it's track only. I actually have very little street riding experience, maybe 7K miles or so. As long as I can do about 15 track days a year, I'm happy!

I hear you. That's one thing I've always wanted to do. Go on a lonnnnnnnng road trip on a bike, ride nice country roads, far away twisties...away from traffic and idiot drivers.
Maybe/hopefully down the line.

I get my road trips in when I hit up track days or races that are far away. Miller is 8 hours, Buttonwillow is 7 hours, Laguna Seca is 12-14 hours. Nothing like packing a trailer full of bikes and a truck full of motorcycle addicts and hitting the road.
