Can I ask why he was arrested? Adults have the right to dress however they want, and walk public streets at whatever hour they wish to. So unless he was trespassing on someone's property I don't see the problem. The issue of child abandonment is a separate topic, and knowing how unprofessional a lot of cops are, they probably arrested him BEFORE learning that he even had a kid.

Either this is poor reporting missing some details, or it was poor discretion used by the officer.

Perhaps the fact he was sneaking around a neighborhood "playing ninja" looked like a home invader?

That would be my thought, seeing some grown man creeping around, in the middle of the night in a black outfit and I assume a hood over his face, I'd be calling the cops for a prowler check.

That might be why someone called the cops, but it doesn't justify an arrest unless he was trespassing.

Im not seeing anywhere where it said he WAS arrested...just says he was charged and is to appear in court. Sounds like he was ticketed with a summons and sent home, not arrested...

I dont play Ninja...I play "Kick Ass"!!

Seriously, Ninja only dress dark for black ops infiltration kinda deals...The majority of the time they acted as assassins they would dress to blend in, as a farmer, servant, cook. They were hidden in plain sight. To me this is pretend double fail.

Now my Kick Ass costume is easily recognizable. Screams Dork Avenger. Even cops shy away...
