I'm not too keen on Field Sheer. The stitching doesn't look all that hot and it felt clumsy with the designs. Too Superman-y or something with the muscle paddings and such. I gave my Field Sheer jacket to my nephew and he loved that silly look.

Some of the color combos are a little extreme. Mine actually look less flashy than most Astar gear though.

Ok so this is pricey but look at what it has
http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US For christ sake it has a glasses pocket with a built in lens wipe. Completely waterproof, mesh cool liner, and body armor. |

Textile is a bit cheaper
http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US And here's the hydration packs I was talking about... they go in some of their jackets http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US Another example http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US But i know i know, it's also got HD all over it. But they have quality stuff. |

You must return here with a shrubbery or else you will never pass through this wood alive!

What's ur current ride? Can't see on phone.
honestly, check hd if ur not into pure super sport aggressive riding stance. Almost everything they have will be under $500. They offer protective additives u can put in. Also, cooling pieces as well. Its this special material that u wet then add to places on the jacket. The water evaporates and keeps u cool without being wet either. I know I know. Stfu u hd whiners. The one constant I found about hd stuff. Its designed by real riders. If they say it will do "X" then it will do it and do it well. Period. And generally all their gear is top top notch. When I'm on a pc I'll post some ideas depending on what you are looking for. With their xr1200 bike becoming popular they have increased their line up to include more protection and agressive cuts. |

typical sportbike position My current Alpine Stars worked out great, heavy duty leather, removable liners, zip up venting in a bunch of places. Unfortunately they dont make it any more. I haven't been able to find something comparable. Its either perforated or it has minimal venting or its textile. old jacket Last edited by pauldun170; 10-28-2010 at 03:14 PM.. |
