In highschool most of my firends had good nicknames, I can only remember a few of them right now:

Munchies (this kid Chris who once said he had the munchies and we never let it go, he hated that name)
Gina (real name was Justin but we all called him Gina, not sure why)
Pops ( this kid Hector who had a full beard in 10th grade, we used to say "Hey pops how are the kids?")

G-Dub (friend of mine now whos initials are G.W.)

My friends in high school used to call me Shorty...they thought it was hilarious because I am 5'11''.

There was a guy in high school that we called Dave. I am pretty sure that his name was Tim but he was too shy to tell my friend his names so we called him Dave.

Insulting nicknames are a long-held military tradition. And the more of a douche you are, the worse it gets. You also can't give yourself a cool nickname EVER. So when your friend starts trying to get you to call him Diesel you have to immediately let everyone know they should refer to said friend as Sheet Stain. Forever.

The whole Punisher thing started a long time ago, since then there's been Chickenhawk and Chappy.

As for other people, I like to give out nicknames. I mostly do it at the pizza place. Here are the kids I work with.

Stacy (his real name is Zak, but his mom's hot)
Jimmy (couldn't remember his real name at first, and he looks like a Jimmy)
Clop-Top (kid has some weird hair and looks like Carrot Top)
Norm (Fat Guy that kind of looks like George Wendt)
Jailbait (17 year old flirts way too much)
Jolly Green (the guy is huge)
Fearless Leader (the new douchebag manager)

I still go by the last nickname given to me...

Before that, it was Doc, because I performed an emergency tracheotomy on a kid who got a fish bone stuck in his throat, and he actually lived to tell the tale. I used a Buck knife and the hollow handle from a disposal razor. It was messy. Lots of screaming. The screaming came from the people watching, the fish bone kid wasn't able to scream at time, which is why I stabbed him in the throat with a Buck knife to begin with.

I learned how to do it from a M*A*S*H* episode.

Lucky for him I watched a lot of TV back then.

Names I've given:

The Bump

Slits (half Chinese, half Irishman)

Crispy (he was a burn victim, but he had a sense of humor)

Fingers (he was missing some)

Hammer Time (guy I hit with a hammer, )

JC

No one has ever been able to make a nickname stick on me but I hear, "Hey fuckhead!" with some frequency.
