Beautiful dog. I've seen other Mastiffs. They make my 10-year-old Akita look small. Mine has to be on a close leash outside as he is very aggressive with other dogs. Also, extremely loyal. Calm as can be unless someone gets too close to me.

The wife told me that these dogs just came out of the farms in 1988 as work dogs and won't be recognized by AKC in July 2008. Right now they are in the ICCF (International Cane Corso Federation).

Working on names now...

Impressive dogs...I've owned a couple of dogs over 100 lbs. but nothing like these. Even though I like most all dogs...I especially like breeds that you just don't see very often. I'll be interested to hear your opinions as the pup grows up.

I much rather have the Cane Corso than these but speaking of big dogs...I had a friend with a 225 lb male and a 175 lb female Mastiff. These aren't their dogs but check these out...
