Update on Serene:

As many of you know CBS2 reporter Serene Branson experienced some health-related problems last night during our post-Grammys newscast.

She was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized.

As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home. And while Serene says she is feeling better today, she wants us to know she followed-up with a visit to the doctor for some medical tests.

I'm curious to know if we ever find out for sure.

Being checked by PARAMEDICS for having a heartbeat is a little different than
being checked/cleared/treated by a neurologist.

Either way, the remix is funny as shit!

Can't see the videos but that was a trip...you could see the confusion on her face and she kept trying to make sense but it just didn't come out that way. A definite WTF moment. Hope she's ok.

interesting... I know strokes effect different people in different ways especially in different parts of the brain...

mine i was always able to talk... I just sounded drunk... the words were slurred but the right words...

I think a Neuro visit or clearance is key as she didn't for a second seem as though she noticed what she was saying and what she meant weren't matching up.

Mine was the other way around. The shit in my brain wasn't making it to my mouth. I knew what I was trying to say, I just couldn't get it out right.

It was weird, because at first I didn't notice. I couldn't understand why everyone at the table was looking at me funny. Even the people who didn't speak English knew I was fucking up.

That's what speaking in tongues will get you; ignored by Germans.

I was talking to my dad about this this morning. I guess I was slurring so bad that I COULD have been saying weird shit but they couldn't understand.
