it's not the source of your problem, but stop filling up w/ premium. Just cuz it's more expensive doesn't mean it's better for the bike, it just means it has more additives in it to raise the octane level, which is only needed for high compression engines prone to detonation.

Check your owners manual for the recommended octane & use that (or whatever's available w/o going below the recommended). Anything "better" is nothing but a waste of money.

Also, GENERALLY the "cheaper" fuels get changed out more often because more people use them, which means there's less of a chance for condensation to build up in the bottom of the holding tank.

I concur with this 1000%. higher octane doesnt=higher performance or better power output in a bike unless you've got a turbo or your bike specifies you need premium. I run regular 87 unleaded in my cage, my bike, and everything I own without a single issue.

premium wont give a bike more power, clean it out, etc. in a bike that specifies regular unleaded is what you need, you're really just burning money and not much else honestly.

Most power will be had with the lowest octane that doesn't cause knocking.

You get the FAIL prize since an R6S has 12.4:1 compression and requires premium fuel.

Oh for the record water is heavier than gas so the bottom of the tank is the nasty stuff. Also if you ever see a truck at the station filling the tanks drive right past cause when they fill the tanks it stirs up all the crap and you will get more of the crap. There is a reason they have to change the tanks every few years even now that they are not steel.

Can gas go bad? It really just breaks down in a fashion. Gas' #1 enemy is air. That is why you always fill the tank to its complete to eliminate the air.

But I highly doubt this is a gas issue. You said it only fucked up when you were turning?

But i will always suggest a frequent run of seafoam... it won't hurt. Check the sticky in tech on seafoam.
