Its 12:30...and the time keeps clicking away, as Im walking around the house aimlessly, I hear a knock on the kitchen door. Kinda odd I think to myself thinking about the time, and the fact that the knock is coming from my kitchen door disturbs me further. Someone is in my garage.

I yell "who is it?" thinking to myself...I gotta go get the gun, who the fuck is in my garage at 12:30 in the morning?
I hear "The Police!"

OMG....everything is going through my head now.....did I hear that correctly? Did he say police? I must not have heard him correctly

I yell "The Who???"

He says....."The Police!"

By this time my 7 pound dog is barking like a 100 pound pit bull....so I yell "hold on a minute!", and grab her barking ass.

I crack the door open first peeking out....only enough for my one eye ball, and my foot secured on the other side of the door ready. As I peer cautiously, through the little crack I realize...holy shit, it is the police!

All this time things are going through my head like where is my 16 year old son? I thought he was asleep in his room....is someone dead? Where is my husband? OH God, thats right, he is asleep on the couch. Damn...what is going on here?

As the door opens wider I can see that he has a calm look on his face and I can see his headlights from his squad car shining into my garage. I say "can I help you sir?".

He smiles and says..."your service door on your garage is open and you have alot of toys in here, I just wanted to let you know you should lock your door".

Holy shit...did that just scare the hell out of me!

the service door must have blown open, it wasnt shut properly, because my sons friend was the last to leave the house. I didnt even check.

Thank God my husband woke up right after the police left..I could have been raped and killed by then...but I guess its the thought that counts lol

anyways....good luck to me getting to sleep now...

Wow. I'm surprised. A cop actually doing a good deed? That's a bit farfetched here. Glad to hear that there are actually those that do good things like that.
