Hmm. Whatever.

I suppose a paranoid person would pay cash, except for the fact that at the toll booth, your plate is photographed, and presumably run immediately the moment you access the highway anyway...so perhaps it's of little consequence either way in regards to privacy...but one does have to wonder exactly which day they will suddenly decide to start comparing your on-ramp and off-ramp times to just mail you speeding tickets...but I digress...
I can see them doing that in joisey since there are tolls everywhere. In NY it smostly just yto cross bridges or the tolls on 9y getting in and out of the state, and there are still a few toll free crossings, unless bloomberg has his way.

I thought you two lived close to each other. Or maybe in Canada 5 hours IS close.

I have a Fasttrack pass (CA) which is only for a faster commute and then I have an I-pass for the Chicagoland area.

I cross a toll bridge twice a day. It's only 75 cents. I use a Macpass in the car. Used to have velcro on the bike for it.

1. Pre-plan and put appropriate amount of cash in pocket that is on the right wrist of the Stich.

2. Roll up, put bike in neutral, open zipper (not removing gloves) pay the man.

3. Collect change back to cash pocket.

4. Leave.

You clearly haven't done this enough.

I don't think I've used change to pay a toll in 10 years (minus traveling to Atlanta and driving on GA 400

My almost sure-fire way not to have to reach in my pocket for change at a toll:

1) Pull into stall
2) deploy side stand
3) pick up dropped change off the ground, and pop it in the machine
