A guy I met at Road Atlanta a few weeks ago had that helmet. The LIGHTEST helmet I've ever held, probalby 1/3 the weight of my Shoei.
I never thought my next helmet would be an HJC, but it's damn sure leaning that way. The owner said it makes a huge difference at speed (it was his first time at RA and he was running 1:34's his second session, so I believe him ) and his neck isn't nearly as strained at the end of the day. |

Texas and HJC go well together - both are second rate.

My exo-1000 is heavy. Feels like they replace the foam shell with a rubber shell for the added weight. LOL Also, it's fucking loud. I don't give a shit of people put in their reviews on it being quite. It's not. My cheapy Walmart helmet is more quite.

I love the boots. But I did grow up in Texas.
My current helmet is an HJC, swapped from my Exo 1000 to the HJC with a drop down visor and hands down its the better helmet. Lighter, quieter and definitely more comfortable. Say what you will, as long as its Snell and DOT, wtf difference does brand make other than the price tag? |

What HJC do you have? I like the features of the EXO-1000 but they are just too heavy for me.
