~$800/yr FC on my busa
apoc, before you drop full coverage, might wanna ask your finance co. what they are going to charge you. they generally don't come repo bikes, they just tak on their own ins. and you're held liable for that amount. so you'd just keep paying for the bike, till bike + their ins. is paid off.

But no, as far as I know, they cant add anything but predertimed cost (interest) to a loan, up here at least. Either way, im not gonna worry about it. They try to add 4k/year onto my loan, and i'll leave the bike and keys out front of the HD dealership, and tell em to fucking keep it. But ill sell it before it has to come to that anyway.

eff that dude. I only have liability on the SV because of $$ - I would be paying for the bike every few years. I saved up enough to replace the bike if anything happens and carry liability for anyone elses damages (costs me under 100 bucks a year)

I never had full coverage on my SV either......It just wasn't a high theft risk. A chain was enough to protect it. Same with my current bike.

I pay about $330 ayear for full coverage on my 06 GSXR 600, and a buddy just added me to his policy while I babysit his bike and its saving him $150 a month. Even for a Harley that seems really extravagant at $1000 a year.

Definitely check around and compare apples to apples. You might also ask how they rate the bike, some places look at retail value, some look at displacement, some look if it has GSXR, Ninja, etc. All goes into consideration as well as credit, down here. Good Luck |
