I'd pass on the SV as a track bike for the same reason as a 650r. They are basically the same bike.

SVs put down some stupid fast lap times at Willow even while being down ~30+hp from the 600s.

Svs teach you how to ride vs using HP to get ahead. and yes they are very formidable track bikes when ridden by a good rider.

Yes I know what both a 600 and SV are capable having owned both. I still say 600.

The 650r is the same bike, why down it for the SV????? If he found a 650r, he wants, he has a 650r already, so he probably should get that over a SV because he already knows the bikes in and out and will have parts.....

And I DON'T LIKE the SV or GSXR. Don't like the feel or the way they ride or the image. I would consider an R6 or ZX6R if I found one with this level of aftermarket stuff for the same price. I'm not looking to spend $4k for some trashed newer bike- yes I know I could spend less on an older model, but that doesn't appeal to me either. Why buy a porky carbed three generations past supersport when I can get a 650R that I'm comfortable with a like very much that's track prepped?

I know some of you (Tigger) could find a deal in the dark, with your hands behind your back, and earplugs, and a clothespin on your nose So what are you seeing out there?
